Age spots, medically called lentigo, are uniformly brownish spots that usually occur on sun-exposed areas such as the face and hands. In older people, they are usually numerous. But more and more younger people from about 40 years of age are also affected. Although age spots are usually not harmful to health, they are perceived as very disturbing for aesthetic reasons.


Even though these pigment spots can be covered with makeup or mineral powder, this is not a satisfactory solution, especially for young people.

Please refrain from taking blood-thinning medications such as aspirin 2 weeks before treatment. To support healing, alcohol and nicotine consumption should also be minimized during this time.
Before treatment, a special anesthetic cream is applied. The anesthetic cream helps minimize pain and discomfort during the procedure.
The duration, including preparation and follow-up, is 30-45 minutes.
Patients may leave the practice immediately after therapy.
After treatment, no special therapies are required, which facilitates the healing process. Good skin care with soothing creams and/or oils is recommended. It is essential to use a sun protection factor of 50 in the first four weeks after the procedure. This protects the treated areas from harmful UV radiation and supports optimal healing.
The first results are visible approximately 2 weeks after treatment.
When a patient is socially acceptable again depends on the treated area, usually after about 14 days.
