Before we perform a Mommy Makeover, we discuss the respective treatment goal with the patient and examine her physical condition. These are two of the factors on which treatment planning depends. Usually, multiple procedures can be performed in one session without problems, so the patient is only affected by downtime and possible aftercare once.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia to ensure that you are completely relaxed and pain-free throughout the entire procedure. This allows the surgeon to achieve the best results while you are in a comfortable state.
A Mommy Makeover usually combines abdominoplasty with liposuction and breast surgery. In breast surgery, a breast lift is often combined with augmentation. The surgery time also depends on whether implants are used for breast volume enhancement. The duration of the procedure varies depending on the surgical technique used between 3-5 hours. Postoperatively, you will spend at least 24 hours in our clinic.
After a Mommy Makeover, wearing a compression garment on the abdomen and breast for 6 weeks is required. During this time, you should rest physically. The inserted suture material is removed 14 days after the procedure. Pain medication can be taken if needed.
After a Mommy Makeover, patients are usually socially presentable after 3 weeks. Complete healing takes about six months.
